Women’s Workout FAQ

Wont most of these programs make me bulk up?

No. All of these programs are for women. The idea that low weights and high reps make you 'toned' because its kind of resistance and cardio in one is mostly wrong. It is extremely difficult to get big in that kind of professional body builder kind of way without steroids. You should use challenging body weight or gym resistance to get a big metabolic effect ie you can increase your metabolism and lose weight with by including resistance training alone. If you are a women then you still definitely need to use resistance but can start with bodyweight exercises first.

I am a Women which of these is best for me?

It depends what your comfortable with. You should do some type of resistance training. If your comfortable with the idea of free weights then choose my best rated programs on my home page. If you prefer bodyweight exercises there are options there too. Please see my home page.

I am pretty new to fitness, are these too advanced for me?

No not at all. All of these programs start with a beginners workout through to intermediate and advanced. There is no point starting by walking (unless you have an injury) as your wasting your time and are unlikely to see any gains. Start with one of these programs and do the right thing from day one.

I am an intermediate or advanced trainer, what value will they add for me?

Well as they say 'you don't know what you don't know.' Don't assume you have learnt everything. There are so many opposing ideas on fitness its ridiculous so it would not surprise you that you may be doing some things right but others wrong, however as a whole your not progressing. These Books may help you discover that aspect that is holding your body back. That might be nutrition, cardio, resistance methods repetitions, intensity and also tactics you don't know about for core training or say getting rid of that last 5% of stubborn fat. If your serious about this you should be the first to buy these products.

Why should I take your reviews seriously?

That's totally up to you but if you take the time to read them all properly you will see these are detailed and unedited personal reviews. We have tried the 3 shortlisted programs and know how well they work. Also after reading 10 Books and so much other resource material added to our own testing, you get to know what's real. Our 3 recommendations are based on real results and I did give each of those programs a try. You wont get a more detailed and honest review anywhere else to my knowledge.

I want to lose fat mainly, which is best for me?

To lose fat the most effective method is to combine 3 strategies to supercharge your weight loss for good. 1. Nutrition 2. Weight or Body Weight Training 3. Medium to High Intensity Cardio. The 3 are all in order of priority. In terms of the best overall program it depends on what turns you on. There is no point doing something you will hate.

Is it recommended to buy more than one program?

If you can afford it yes. You should start with only 1 program to begin with though and give that one a good 8 to 12 weeks especially of you're a beginner before coming back for other ideas. In the end all of these programs will be suitable for you nearly 100% of the time but don't be afraid to do some exercises not recommended or swap some around if you believe you have a legitimate reason. If your looking to combine say one my top fitness books with a more nutritionally or diet focused book then that would be ok to do both at once if you're the type of person that can take in lots of information and wont get sidetracked. If not stick to one with 100% intensity and focus.

Fit Yummy Mummy vs Turbulence Training

If your weighing up Holly or Craig for example and have a goal to lose weight then both will do a great job so it really depends on your commitment and time. Both of these programs are very effective but we rated Holly No.1 mainly because her nutrition program was written for Women. Holly’s Program takes less time if your time poor. On the other hand if you have time and want the hardest and most effective advanced training techniques then perhaps Craig’s Turbulence Training has more options in this area for you.

If your still not sure remember that for less than the cost of a personal trainer you could buy both of these programs or all of the 3 programs and still walk away with change in your pocket. This is exactly what I did. So go with your gut choose one today and get started asap.
